The objectives of this course are:
•To
develop principles and procedures for materials development in ELT
•To
analyse and critically assess ELT materials.
•To
relate materials to an awareness of contemporary issues in English-speaking
societies within a globalized world.
This
seminar aims to promote the principled development of ELT materials. Rather
than merely following a coursebook or imitating its contents, language learning
materials should be created according to FL methodological principles.
