The main objective of the course at this level is to work from your language learning experiences, to relate activities to your personal lives and to develop confidence in self-expression. Your participation in class and what you can do outside class helps you to achieve your objectives. The communicative methodology along with a task based approach enables you to reflect on and acquire linguistic and communicative skills as well as develop your knowledge of the world. It also seeks to promote questioning and a good deal of spoken interaction. In this respect, discussion is an integral element.
In addressing the varying needs of our students, there are opportunities to enrich awareness of language use and develop autonomous learning abilities including your reflective, analytical and editing skills. Making good use of all these opportunities will enable your creativity and your communicative competence in English to evolve.
